Final fairing and finishing to primer

In between fire and smoke evacuations, I managed to get some progress on the SEI.  Below is a series of photos showing that progress to primer. Final finish and graphics will take a while longer and I still have to put together a trailer.

Also I put together the oarlocks to be installed after paint.

Finishing, the long slow process

Mostly working on fairing the cockpit now.

For me getting a good consistency of filler that doesn't tend to flow downhill has been difficult. So before doing the sides I installed the gudgeon using it and the bow eye as lift points. With a couple of vangs that I had, i could easily lift and adjust the angle.

I have also set the pintles on the rudder head.

One thing I did notice is that with unlocks on the studs it will be difficult to put the pintle pins in. I am hoping after I set the gudgeons permanently I can grind down any excess thread to help.

And here is shot of the bow eye.
